The painting on this model was brush work except the lettering and border of the name plate which were done with paint pens.  Paints used are Delta Ceramcoat acrylics: Black Green, Dark Jungle Green, Hunter Green, Light Foliage Green, Green Sea, Olive Yellow, Mellow Yellow, Bright Yellow, Rosetta Pink, Light Ivory, Lichen Grey, Storm Grey, Drizzle Grey and Black.

Here's my original Aurora from when  I was about 12 years old.  I was affraid I'd blown him up, but when I looked through the box of old kits, there he was.  That ain't green paint either folks, it's the color of the plastic.  I've never seen one, but hear tell the first issue of this kit from Aurora was sort of a fuchsia color.  And dig those eyes!  I must have been trying to copy the box art.  My old Kong has red eyes too.
