Here's The Phantom of the Opera.  Several movies have been made based on the novel by Gaston Leroux.  From what I've read, this kit seems to be based on James Cagney's portrayal of Lon Chaney's portrayal of the Phantom.

I really liked working on the base for this one.  It's hard to get a good pic of the guy in the cage though.  I did a dry brush of green and purple on the stone to try to get a "sewery" lighting effect.

Here's a look at the original Aurora box art by James Bama.

And here's my Aurora Phantom.  I would have been 9 or 10 when I built this guy.    The rat's tail is broken off and it looks as though the prisoner's arms/bars were never attached.  Otherwise it's intact.  It's the only glow kit I'm sure I have.  I wasn't too fond of the glow kits (still not crazy about them), so I would have used the non-glow parts that came with the glow kits.  This is the only kit I used glow parts on.  I think my King Kong and Godzilla models may have been glow kits.
